No more fighting for a “seat at the table.” That’s so 20th century. The true seat of power is no longer at the right of the CEO, or the left, or straight across.
You know where I want HR to be? Standing behind the CEO, whispering in their ear while everyone else fights for their attention. And, ironically enough, I think that’s where HR is best suited to stand. And no one is more qualified to be there.
